After beating the Bruins in that snooze-fest earlier this week, scoring one 5-on-5 goal and an ENG, Philly slumbered their way to a 2-1 win over St. Louis. I perused the Flyers board afterward, and someone was lamenting how slow their board was after a win.

There was a great response - that's the problem with non-event hockey. There's nothing to talk about. ;)

So let's hope this isn't an afternoon of endless passes, only to eventually put a low percentage shot into the shins of Tortorella's shot-blocking Flyers.

The B's contained Konecny/Couturier/Michkov last game, but that may be trickier not having last change.

The B's PK has the potential to be historically bad, so stay out of the box.

The players seem to be enjoying themselves on the road, going by videos the team posts. Hopefully they ran the Rocky steps, visited the Liberty Bell, went to Pat's or Geno's, or for the cultured ones took in the Philadelphia Art Museum, etc. today. And Saturday they will be focused and ready.

I wonder if the locker room is divided like the whole world seems to be. The political atmosphere is a powder keg, if there are guys in the room that are polar opposites about what is happening, it absolutely could make chemistry an issue.

I hope they play hard, give us something to show they are not nearly as bad as they have shown us so far this season. Don't make us waste a Saturday afternoon!!!! Get the two points and feel some pride!

not at all imo

Majority of my long time friends think the opposite of me which I enjoy bothers the shit out of them since I know they think I’m a great judge of people, and we get along just fine still

How many have been in relationships that ran its course

This is how I see it

The Bruins really need to score 1st tonight, they are low on confidence and can't afford to fall behind again. I see Luxmore is officiating, not good, 15 year olds shouldn't be officiating NHL games.

What the Bruins don't want to be at the moment is a tease. Either somehow find a way to genuinely turn a corner and get on the road to relevancy, or keep sucking so much that management are left with no choice but to do something dramatic. Just don't look half-decent, or go on a two-three game streak only to fall away again. Sweeney will probably look for any excuse not to have to do anything. And if a major change is needed, the further it's delayed, the less likely it is to be effective, at least as far as this season goes.

In short, don't be mediocre. Nothing worse for a sporting team, IMO.

I am very stressed out (things outside of hockey). I want a win. I hate the stinking flyers. Come on Bs. Let today's game be the one where things start clicking. I know you are a better team than what you have been showing us. Beat the f***ing flyers and don't get injured.

Hey Steve, I really hope the Bruins win today.

@Aussie Bruin

The unknown is how Charlie feels. We have no idea about Papa Jacobs's health, except that he has been invisible for 18 months.
