Can't wait for this one! Has a bunch of really compelling story lines going in and these teams historically don't like each other.

From HF and Twitter, I'm shocked to see all the support for Perry to score on the Ducks tonight. I hope he has the worst game of his career. I thought we were all loyal to the team not the players. If you want solo loyalty, go watch golf

Perry helped the Ducks win our only Stanley Cup. He didn't leave us as a UFA or demand a trade. He will have a special place in many a Ducks fans hearts. If anyone is to score for the Stars against the Ducks I hope its him and of course for the Ducks to win.

Why are you shocked? Still annoyed he was bought out, without getting the chance to at least try and rebound. Sure he was a mess last year, but so was most of this team, under RC. Still think it was a bad decision by BM.

Dude gave his all (and took soooo much punishment) for the only organization he knew, and scored many huge goals. He's also the only Hart trophy winner in franchise history. He didn't choose to leave, or backstab the franchise, so why would there be animosity?

I hope you're prepared for the replies you're about to receive.
LOL i came to terms with that once i posted it...

What bothers me about the situation is that he gave no f***s his past 3 seasons here. His conditioning was awful, his hands were gone and his skating was an embarrassment. Wishing that he has a bounce back season implies that he basically mailed it in his last couple years here which is REPULSIVE for a star player to do in any situation. Of course I love Perry for what he did but he's unrecognizable now and I sure as hell don't want him to light my favorite team up.

He didn’t, though. He was notorious for coming into camp out of shape. It was clear the past two seasons that he was dogging it at times. The only season that he declared he was going to bust his ass in the off-season was...after the Ducks bought him out.

Loved his play, have a jersey, Wish him well, completely understand that he brought that buyout upon himself.

I have a bad feeling about this game. I'm expecting that the sleepy veterans of Dallas wake up this game to help Perry win against his old team.
