Dr Johnny Fever
RIP Grizzly 399
It's fine to wish him well going forward. But not against your own team.I hope you're prepared for the replies you're about to receive.

If he hadn't been injured this would have lined up to be his 1000 game played.I have a bad feeling about this game. I'm expecting that the sleepy veterans of Dallas wake up this game to help Perry win against his old team.
Getz is also notorious for not training in the off-season. Would you say he hasn't given it his all? How much did Perry play through before the injuries finally caught up to him? He was never the same after Stajan blew up his knee. I agree he brought his fate upon himself, that doesn't mean I'll ignore all the slashes and crosschecks and spears he took over the years trying to score goals for his team.He didn’t, though. He was notorious for coming into camp out of shape. It was clear the past two seasons that he was dogging it at times. The only season that he declared he was going to bust his ass in the off-season was...after the Ducks bought him out.
Loved his play, have a jersey, Wish him well, completely understand that he brought that buyout upon himself.
I don’t remember Getzlaf ever being as out of shape as Perry at the start of a season, and I don’t recall any games where Getzlaf was dogging it and quitting on plays while Perry was busting his ass whereas it’s very easy to recall the opposite. I’ve also heard stories of...rather animated one way discussions between Perry and BM that I’ve not heard of regarding Getzlaf (not saying they haven’t happened though). Let’s be honest though - he took all those cheap shots because he earned them being just as dirty a player.Getz is also notorious for not training in the off-season. Read my second post guy. Its not because he is just a former Duck. I still love Perry but for what he did when he was committed. He mailed it in here the past 3 years. If he has a bounce back season, that means he really wasn't giving it his all here. Adding in that he was part of the leadership group with Anaheim is a huge problem if thats the case.Lame ass take. Expand your amoebic brain to the point that you're able to like more than one thing at once.
I think Perry will end up injuring somebody tonight.
Who's rooting for a Dallas victory? There's one post about "if Dallas wins." I loathe Dallas, especially on the road. I don't want Perry to have a good game. If there's a team that shouldn't get sucked into his antics, it's the Ducks since they know it all too well. Personally, I find him irrelevant now since he's washed up and most likely will be retired in the next couple years. I still hate guys like Benn and Pavelski more.I don’t remember Getzlaf ever being as out of shape as Perry at the start of a season, and I don’t recall any games where Getzlaf was dogging it and quitting on plays while Perry was busting his ass whereas it’s very easy to recall the opposite. You’re free to have your own opinion, clearly, but I’m also not sure I get why people would be actively rooting for a Dallas win tonight.
Sounded like the folks on Facebook?Who's rooting for a Dallas victory? There's one post about "if Dallas wins." I loathe Dallas, especially on the road. I don't want Perry to have a good game. From HF and Twitter, I'm shocked to see all the support for Perry to score on the Ducks tonight. I hope he has the worst game of his career. I thought we were all loyal to the team not the players. If you want solo loyalty, go watch golf
That doesn't surprise me. I try to stay away from 90% of FB because it's a cesspool and the people who post there post on Anaheim Calling, probably.Sounded like the folks on Facebook?
I loathe Benn because he’s cheap (nowhere near as cheap as Neal, but not clean). Pavelski I respect as a clean, skilled player I just hate to play against. Perry is the definition of the type of player you hate on 30 teams in the league though, we will see if he has enough respect for former teammates to just play skilled hockey and not be throwing elbows and slashes.
He broke Kaše in warmupsI think Perry will end up injuring somebody tonight.
Bob Murray decides if kids stay up or not. Not eakins, also, they could be on showcase( one of them may be moved, and BM needs time to see which one he feels might be most ready for us and trade the one who isntSo Eakins still refuses to see that Shore and Del Zotto deserve to be in the lineup and that some of the kids should be with the Gulls. Sigh.
Comtois/Steel/Terry is a line I very much want to watch closely.Ritchie-Getzlaf-Kase
Rakell-Henrique-Silf
Comtois-Steel-Terry
Jones-Grant-Rowney
Del Zotto belongs in over Holzer, but he's not a kid.So Eakins still refuses to see that Shore and Del Zotto deserve to be in the lineup and that some of the kids should be with the Gulls. Sigh.
