If you’re generating chances I’m far more forgiving because it means you’ll eventually score. If you’re not even generating chances it’s more of a concern.

As I said above though, if at the end of the year you don’t have the numbers then yes it’s a disappointment.

Cole really does miss a lot of chances. I don't even know if he hasn't missed more than Anderson.

Barron really playing well defensively. We were saying the same about Kovacevic a few weeks ago. So let's see if Barron can keep it up. Let's hope.

He has sick moves. Great shot. Not expecting regression. But on the whole, his line (and our team in general) hasn’t been great at sustaining pressure. Without that, it’s hard to hit the 40 or 50 goal mark because you have to have a high shooting percentage if you aren’t getting enough shots.

He's shooting a career low 10% through the first 10 games.

Hopefully he gets hot soon and gets back to a 15%+ finishing level... We need that from him.

Who would have thought Gallagher would have a many goals as Caufield ?

We'll see about that at the end of the season. It's good to see Gallagher finding some confidence but let's face it this guy's hands are f***ing shot and anything beside crashing the net and blasting whatever shots he can get off he's useless. Caufield can actually generate quality opportunities off mediocre plays and he's come a long ways from being the defensive liability he was when he first joined the league.
