Zadorov is even worse that I could have imagined. Signing him instead of desperately needed offense still makes absolutely no sense.

Not only does he suck at hockey but he is nothing even close to the "physical presence" he was supposed to be. I'd rather see Wotherspoon play.
Well he is only player on plus except 4th line. Referees made quite clear to Zadorov that he can't tackle or play with snarl when you are wearing Bruins jersey. Those penalties against florida were laughable.
i remember few analytics people I follow on Twitter saying last trade deadline that he’s pretty much a non factor 5v5 in terms of playdriving. Just good at shooting and needs others to do everything else. AKA kinda cheeks
Not sure are you talking Elias or Pasta? Elias at least isn't giving a puck away all the time. Pasta's quantity over quality is so hard to watch. He keeps failing all the great goalscoring chances and scoring tumbling muffins and other bouncing pucks. He really needs to play simpler hockey. He has only one deke and everyone knows that now. Take his eagerness to shot away and he is not 1st line player. Average skater and OK passing.

Since we don't really know what's going on, I'll throw this out there: maybe it is the room, and the reason it never really became this dysfunctional before now was Bergeron. I am not saying Brad is necessarily a poor captain, but Bergeron was pretty much exceptional in every way. Last season his presence was probably still felt and fresh. Now there's some distance and whatever issues or problems that exist are out in the open and not being dealt with. I don't know, just throwing that out there. It's hard to explain how a team that is basically unchanged from last season in terms of its core falls off a cliff like this so many of them performing poorly.
It started after Chara. And this team hasn't play tough after Lucic's first stint.
Swayman: 8 GP, 3.54 & .884

Yikes
Maybe he FEELS he is worth about those numbers. I hope that if nothing gets better soon, he FEELS he wants to live in California.

You keep bagging on McAvoy, what about the other 4 stiffs that are on the power play?

Hard to be creative when everyone is standing still, There is a reason we lose pucks at the blue line and just about every board battle, even while having more players on the ice.

Soft lazy forwards,

Mason looked even worse,

This team has no clue on the power play, how many times Pasta puts the point man in a tough situation, it's like the point man need to concentrate on the upcoming turnover from him.

Take Pasta of the power play first unit, start there. go with two dmen.
Could be. But moving forwards around won't change the fact McAvoy can't quarterback a powerplay. And every good powerplay needs one who can.
The Bs powerplay needs Bergeron and Krejci back! 😉

Zadorov's hits stand out because he actually levels guys and they feel it. He doesn't brush up on them and fall down like Frederic.

I want to know what the stats guys are watching when Trent Frederic is on the ice.
L/perHL

Laughs per Hiding behind Linesmen is highest in the league once again. Tkachuk in Florida catching up fast though.

Swayman thinking I should have held out even if it costs me. Or “can I reduce my contract by about 7 years worth?”
He can play is ass off and have a great year, but a goalie cannot score, and they need scoring, but when you pay like you did for a goalie and have nothing left to address the remainder of your roster this is where you wind up. This has nothing to do with Swaymans play, but he is going to ask for what he feels he worth and his right, but he is only one player on your roster, management right and job is to hold its ground when needed and do what is best to put out a winning team.

No goalie is gonna look too good when 4 out of 5 of your own guys are behind the net chasing ONE guy

Swayman sure doesn't look like anything special for a $66 million dollar goalie, but not only did he miss training camp and pre-season games, but I think he also misses his buddy Linus

I'm hoping he will round into form after Monty gets canned and his team mates start earning their paychecks ...but I honestly don't know if they can turn this around, or will be the new San Jose Sharks
No goalie can play to his talent if he does not have a solid team in front of him. the question is can a lesser goalie with a better roster in front of him be better than what you have now, I think they need a better roster with a scorer attached to it would be beneficial............so bottom line you got two years trade Swayman now.

Win today and get a streak going . All negativity forgotten. Winning best medicine.

Bingo . I'm relaxed too early for jumping off the bridge. 11 games in and it's over.😃
I think they need to win two out of the next three. The Leafs always bail the Bruins out . I’m confident they can do it . Losing today would be disastrous mentally though .

16 mil tied up with Sway and Lindholm, and neither can score............ Oh you are going to be pissed at me.....hahaha
The GM should've thought about that before accepting a long term cap dump in a deal for a Vezina winning goalie.

True......... should have thought about that when he made all those moves to get Orlov, Hathaway, and Bertuzzi and could not sign them and losing Hall, and we both must admit and agree he f***ed this up big time.
