Great interview by Monty. So positive. Can't help but love listening to the guy.
7TH PLAYER is NESN'S Award rememberCan the 7th player award go to the coach??
I love the way he handles forwards in game. Shades of Scotty Bowman.Great interview by Monty. So positive. Can't help but love listening to the guy.
Just heard the comment re Montgomery saying he’s never coached a team that cares about the front of the sweater like this groupGreat interview by Monty. So positive. Can't help but love listening to the guy.
Hampus is thriving in Monty's systemNYR are a very good team with a lot of balance. Well coached too. A tribute to how well the Bs are playing to go into the NYR barn and pull out a 5-2 win.
Players of the game for me are Foligno and Lindholm. Those dudes brought it big time. Lindholm particularly was simply amazing. Made some key plays in both ends, and provided rock solid D against dynamic offensive players. His start to the season is pretty damn special. Like, really special. He's doing a ton more than what shows up in the stats.
Hall low-key was quite good. His effort level in the dirty areas was excellent. Coyle was strong too. I was hoping he would use his strength more this season. Seems to be doing it. Dude is strong as an ox and needs to use that as more of a weapon.
Come to think of it, I could go through most of the lineup and say very positive things about Bs who contributed. Another total team effort. Love seeing the boys bring the physical. Simultaneous fights, Carlo knocking dudes around near the crease, Pasta putting a noted tough guy out of the game. Thank you, Monty.
Safe to say a lot of players are. Talent is not containing itself, it's being unleashed. A beautiful thing to behold.Hampus is thriving in Monty's system
Didn't Felger say Bergy was going to go to Montreal?Felger said Pasta's hit was borderline suspendable.
Yeesh.
I know he tries to be the devil's advocate anti-honk.
But GMAFB.
The Bruins get hit like that behind the play pretty much every game.
Yep... but 10-1 is easier right now and everyone is playing well.Montgomery is a complete 180 from Cassidy. His postgame interview is all about rewarding the players, none of the tossing them under the bus.
I notice that Butch isn't doing too bad at Vegas. I also remember the BRUINS accumulated 107 points last season with Butch as coach. Personally, I liked Cassidy and in his 6 years as head coach the BRUINS reached the PO's 6 times.Montgomery is a complete 180 from Cassidy. Felger is at the point callers should call, laugh, and hang up the phone. Not worthy of words in response. Ratings chasing is all he does, no value added.Felger said Pasta's hit was borderline suspendable.
