what were your concerns? I have a 14 month and am starting to think about taking her to flames games.
Noise damage to ears
Also how well will the kid behave for that long.

When we have a boy it's going to be Carter, told my wife we had to name our first son after whoever scored the GW goal for the Kings first cup win.

You must have been happy to see Raitis Ivanans leave in that case. Although there are worse names than Ivan, if you wanted to go that route. :sarcasm:

I took my daughter to an Angels-White Sox game in August, and it was a struggle. I got her a helmet sundae and that kept her occupied for a couple of innings but after that it's tough to expect kids to sit still, we ended up walking around the outfield concourse area they have and I tried to sneak a few peeks of the game. I think hockey would draw her attention more but I still don't think she is quite ready. Plus there is the bedtime thing, not sure about you but my daughter goes to sleep around 8:30, which is roughly when the second period starts.

Ya gotcha. The bedtime would be an issue. I think that the first game would have to be a weekend matinee.
My first game was not till I was older how about everyone else?
I got my daughter a kings jersey and put her in it every gameday

Amen to this. My kids have the same bedtime, except when the kings are on they go when it's intermission...

So will I not be able to watch this game with gamecenter? I don't have NHL network.

No, I'm in the same situation. NHL Network is on a different package you need to order (How the cable companies make us bend over and take it with no lube)...!!!

Probably, and I ****ing hate it. What the hell is the point of Gamecenter if NHL Network, which is the fringe-iest of fringe league-owned TV channels, trumps my subscription? ****ing ridiculous.

Nobody under the age of 25 even subscribes to cable TV, idiots.

I wish sports would get out of the cable age or they're going to start losing younger fans. Myself and many of my friends have cut the cord, and the others are just hanging on mostly for sports. For me, it would just be to watch hockey, so I can't justify the cost.

You going tonight Herby?

Unfortunately no, think this is the first Kings game I've missed here, but I think I'll enjoy watching it at home with my little one asleep rather than alone with her at the game.

Plus, knowing I'll see the Kings in less than 3 weeks in Detroit made it a bit easier.

i wouldn't let your little one go to the game by herself at that age either..
