Honestly Carolina is playing how every team should play us. These guys have a hard time establishing a forecheck and beating your classic trap

Just all time brutal bad vibes from this game. Hockey god saw rangers fans actually being a little positive and had to squash that out.

Aho is a scumbag but Carolina as a whole has long been a dirty team. I’m sure at the start of every season Rod tells them the refs can’t call everything. They come out and just do whatever and the refs aren’t going to call penalties 15-2 or something like that, so Carolina exploits that.

At least we have/had Fox and Panarin ooo-ing and aahh-ing us. But now that they blew Fox's knee out... is it really a coincidence that Fox was embarrassing them all 1st period, then they go after his knees and he's out and we can't get through anymore?

They're a lot harder on sticks and the puck and skate a lot harder. They take and own space in ways the Rangers don't. You can debate the merits of blowing your guys up like that (spoiler: I think its bad!) but they absolutely play a lot harder to play against boring style than the Rangers do.
