Habs was the better team in the 1st. Just a few bad bounces. We can come back.

We were not ready to skate with them at the drop of the puck.
We don't cover the points and give up some easy shitty goals.
We certainly don't communicate very well when pucks get dumped in on us.
Too many players flying around uncontested.
I'm not sure how that made us the better team we had chances but their team was on us more than we were on them.
To me it looked ugly because it was ugly.

The goalie was not prepared to play. The period was pretty even in term of scoring chances and we even had more shots on goal.

The poster I was replying to was bemoaning blind faith, and I was pointing out that blind faith and and criticism are both the same thing at root.
