Creating scoring chances is better than not creating scoring chances. The goals will come if they keep creating scoring chances.

You're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't. Create chances is better than not creating any (like the Nashville game). He's giving them a fighting chance. One of those bounces could go there way, so long as he continues to create opportunities.

I am more concerned with him Using his body to retrieve pucks. So far Ellerby is as advertised in that department.

Will hit people to separate the puck.
 
Doesn't have to be him but were going to have lots of guys getting raises with a lower cap. Were going to have to find creative ways to make it fit. It could be Moller, he's the most like Gagne in the organization and we wouldn't be rushing him in like if it was Toffoli or Vey.

It's more just damned if you don't (score goals). It's a results oriented business. We're in the cellar, we can't afford to lose more games, especially not to a team that played last night.
 
You guys are all over Detroit. Playing a great agressive game using speed and getting bodies to the net. Howard is the only reason LA doesn't have the lead but it will come if you keep working hard and playing to this level. Brown has looked good and I thought Williams has looked very good

Yes it is but so many goals are second and third chances and thus it's imperative to create the initial chance. And that's why they're rightfully crediting Brown in that regard.
