Coyle 18/22, Beecher 7/7 at the dot. Key in a game where the Bs needed to limit Tor possession as much as possible. Huge performance from Carlo -- most important Bs skater tonight. Jake by far his best game of the year. Poitras with several big shifts. Zacha super engaged physically. I thought Heinen and Steen made some sneaky good defensive plays. Pretty sure Steen is part human and part brick toilet.

Swayman star of the game, and it's not even close.

Props to Lohrei. Expected him to look good, and he did. Wotherspoon and Mitchell did well enough to not cost the Bs. Lindholm by far logged the most mins at 29:32 -- work horse.

Just a great win with so many regulars out. Leafs board going to be as entertaining as the game.

Leafs, meh, nothing to worry about. Elite offensive talent, sketchy defense. As per normal. They got really good goaltending tonight which is not to form, but otherwise looked like the Leafs always do: dangerous if you screw around, but grindable and beatable.

They have some big time players but when the big 4 aren’t on the ice, the difference is huge. They aren’t a Cup contender. Maybe a round if their goalie plays like he did tonight, but they still aren’t tough enough either as you say
