So out of all the players on that team....Farrell is the one that leads a powerplay? Geez....

How are they not controlling the puck in the offensive zone on a 6 on 4?

A few ugly defensive plays all around to be sure, outshot them but allowed way too many high danger chances. Lindstrom's play on the 6th goal, everyone's play but Struble I'd say was not great on defense, but it's the 1st game. They can build on this.

This pp was Habs bad
They have two potential one times available at time, 3 total, but at any point you're only going to have 2 available to you.

They have a shit set up.

First full game and I want Houle and Co fired. They have such bad setups for shit.

Farrell's not the problem. Farrell moves the puck around well. The issue is there aren't enough shooters on the PP.
Farrell has been unable to create shooting and passing lanes. He was pushed off easily while having the puck. He was too static. Strangely, when Roy had the puck, he created chances. Farrell was not.

Legaré, Davidson, McKay in. Kidney, Farrell and Andersson out. Wake up Lias.

That comes from setting up completely backwards though.

You have the PP running through Farrell on the right. Who exactly is he supposed to be feeding? Left handed Norlinder and Roy?

Flip Roy and Farrell if you want the puck in Farrell's hands and at least when he's passing from the left he's teeing up Roy and Norlinder for one-timers.
Or Farrell needs to learn that when he's on the right he's the triggerman and his job is to move the puck back to the left as quickly as possible so it can return to him in a more dangerous position (cross ice pass).

This is Powerplay 101. Not sure how we keep seeing stuff like this in professional hockey.
