Goaltending, defensively, skill wise, Toronto was just better. “The score doesn’t tell the story” sure…. Guys sure

Getting out shot while dominating special teams doesn't scream Toronto was better defensively to me. Leafs offense and PP showed up big tonight. Ullmark lost the goaltending battle. Leafs were not great in their own end.

You sound just like everyone else when the Leafs play. The Leafs aren’t flashy, but damn they are good, they will give a million shots from the blue line and cover the net. None of their game is flashy so of course “Ottawa didn’t look as bad as the score” yeah but the score is the score. Ottawa got destroyed in every area. That’s why it was 6-2. Try giving more credit next time.

As for tonight, Leafs got 3 PP goals, and were 50% on the PP. That's not normal for any team. Ottawa gave the game away more than Toronto won it.

Sens goaltending was complete trash. This was a walk in the park for Toronto and is not indicative of Toronto out-working Ottawa. 5 on 5, it was pretty even.

Omg lol First off… don’t add in the PP numbers.. I don’t give a shit because Ottawa should own every second of it. They’re lucky it wasn’t a game misconduct and possible suspension. So spare me the victimhood. Those Powerplay comments are in one ear and out the other. You’re right goaltending was a major factor. It would be nice if you and the rest of your fan base have more credit to Stolarz.

Sens were better at 5 on 5 but their pk is deplorable. They need to stay out of the box if they want a chance. Ullmark was horrid too

I'm just glad the refs called the game as it should be called. The reputation in this league is that playoff hockey is "different". This is just code for "goons are allowed to get away with illegal plays".

If the league wants the big cash from massive companies like Amazon, they need the game to be about talent and tenacity.

Tenacity is not the same as dirty play. Dirty play is for cowards and those who raised them.
