-Hertl is playing like he’s got something to prove
-Eklund belongs in the NHL, Bordeleau looks decent too
-Zadina had some pop
-Thrun good
-Everyone else bad

If guys like Zadina/Eklund/Bordeleau/Thrun prove that they belong in the league and if Duclair can produce well enough to get a 1st at the deadline, I'd call this season a win for you guys. If the lottery balls fall in your favor, even better.

Ever since these lines came together I've been thinking it's just a matter of time before Eklund replaces Hoffman on that Hertl/Zadina line. I figured it might take a few weeks but at this point I'm hoping it's within the first few games. Eklund is so much more active and engaged than Hoffman.

Definitely the best we've seen of Zetterlund (funny thing is I remember the Devils' game before he was traded he looked waaaay more impressive than he ever did with the Sharks, at least until tonight).
