That was a nice looking Power Play. I think Zetterlund is going to have a type of year that we can get great value back at the deadline.

There's a good argument for putting Smith on the wing, but I also fear that the longer he stays on the wing, the more he becomes a winger. There's merit in letting him learn the center position ASAP.

I agree that his long term future is at center but he needs time to adjust to the speed of the game and he definitely needs to add some muscle. Right now it looks like he’s playing to not make a mistake and without confidence, let him gain it on the wing then move him back to center when his confidence comes up

Either Zetterlund regresses massively, or it is a huge overpayment.

Detroit fans hated him for some reason, but they don't get to watch our defense play. People on that board couldn't believe it when I said he was already our best defenseman the day of the trade.

Grier should lock him up for 8 as soon as he can. I think he's a great 2-3W and will be essentially what Timo would've been if its anything less than 7m. Eklund should get 8 too.
