Here
It would be interesting to see both Slaf and Mesar play on the same line.
Why? It does nothing for the top line to get in gear, and Mesar getting a pass from junior to line #1, thus bypassing basically all prospects, young roster players and vets is basically a no no for a prospect of his caliber.

this is a pre season match. Martin is not going to play his NHL roster every single game. It would also be nice to see if Mesar can handle playing in the top 6.

Like i said, this is only a pre season match. You try new line for one game or 2.

True, if not now then when, I get it. I like the third as is, considering those three don’t know each other and likely will be line #1 in Laval. I prefer they get all the reps possible.

There is a reason they kept their top 6 intact from day one.
It would be weird to see them move away from that strategy once we hit pre-season games.

Who are these nicknames for? I'm sure to teammates it's something simple like "Arbs" and "Flo".

Personally I'm going to be referring to them collectively as the bash brothers until further notice.

So anyway... no Michkov sucks, Briere trolling us as usual. But he should have played him just to give him a taste.

PS. I don't care that much about this plotline, it's just entertaining. Esp since Michkov and Demidov seem to be fond of eachother irl.

This in the mix stuff is bull. I’ve never seen a training camp where they started the expected likes together like this. What’s clear is that they are not going for all our development here and want to build chemistry from the get to get a good start to the season and start building those points right away.

Whatever management says about being in the mix is just then tampering expectations. This team is trying to set up a playoff run.

And I’m all for it.

Agree.

I would also argue that he next step in the collective development of the team is also.to take this competitve step.

Yes boys another day in Habs fan land another season starting tomorrow. Will try to log in for a couple of games in a row this season early on, because I may lose interest if it starts to go south fast and turn into a shitshow.

We could call this chapter the transitional bridge. Waiting for Demidov. Our young guys are ready for war and they could surprise. But gut feelings says no.

This year, I would be happy with a battle for a playoff spot.

After 3 years of high pick, Habs have drafted 3 superstars//stars potentiel with Slafkovsky, Demidov and Hutson. That's really amazing. I don't talk about the another prospects we have drafted who have high potential (Hage, Reinbacher Engstrom, Fowler and more).

Soo it's time to win!!

This year can be Stairway to Heaven.

And then when demidov comes over, we can call next year Meeting the Master 🎶

Briere could sense hutson was going to flatten michkov in the corner and was worried torts would do some sort of blood sacrifice to michkov
