It’s seems like we are in an odd transitional period where one day all officiating will be done with electronics

Cuylle's fault. You all crazy blaming Kakko. Don't they teach kids to drag their legs going over the blueline anymore?
If he dragged and slowed down the entire play is different anyway.

Kaapo did something really rude to the hockey gods
He had a good summer.

Re: rule, I wish they made a small tweak to offsides so the puck just needs to be ON the blueline. So offsides is much clearer i.e. the player is already past the blue line and the puck has clearly not overlapped with the blueline. It gives the edge to the non-puck-holding skater but it makes the game more fluid and gets rid of all these damn challenges.

The problem with offside being objective is that it happens too fast for a human being to catch it. If you put in a machine to make this call, I'd be fine with play stopping there. It just didn't have a real bearing on the end of the play.

I couldnt care less about the offsides challenge. What I do care about is obstruction. Everyone does it and it’s only called 5% of the time
