MSL is not an NHL coach. He is a feel good coach. That's it. At some point, team needs someone who can manage the game, make strategies, adjust, coach PP FFS. I was never MSL's fan... especially how everyone was all gaga over him.
I'll refer you to a past hughes interview where he explained that a team needs certain coaches depending on where they are in the process. I'm fine with him if he can develop the young guys well. I do agree that they need a veteran systems type o coach but I'm not looking for a coach that can squeeze out wins with boring trap hockey. Time to move away from the last 25 years of Habs hockey

Really like what I see from Newhook, Slaf, Monahan and of course the dynamic duo.

Gallagher is completely done. It's quite sad to see, he was such a great warrior for us. But he's wayyy too slow for the league and he's out of gas about 10 seconds into his shift.

Guhle looks worst than he did last season which is weird, but we've seen a second year slump before. Let's hope he bounces back, but I would have hoped for him to bulk up a bit more in the offseason.

And of course we're facing taranna and the refs so it is what it is

I'll take him over anything we've had since Demers. The players are getting better and the team plays offense.

MSL is the perfect coach for this team at this time without question.
