Doughty played terrible. The team looks really rusty and out of sync. I was impressed by Forbort though, not bad at all. And Nolan looked pretty good.

Hoping Dowd gets the call soon, that guy brings the energy.
 
Wasn't that bad.

Lots of injuries already, that sucks.

But the bottom six played well, Forbort was solid as a rock. Toffoli scored.

Zatt came in cold and played well.

Doughty is not going to play that bad all season.
 
2-1 against the sharks on opening night after the sharks went to the finals last season? Actually better than I expected. Here's to next game!
 
Came out with something to prove and then just went flat. This team still needs a youth injection, they've grown stagnant.

Of course Quick gets injured...
 
Zatkoff, Clifford, and Forbort played well.

Brown and Martinez were pretty much invisible all game.
 
Top guys on the Sharks still outscoring the top guys on the Kings. Had control of the puck in the offensive zone in the last minute, but couldn't get it off the boards, so really the Sharks were in control of the puck.

In the last 16 games between the Kings and Sharks:

Burns - 16GP, 9G, 11A, 20pts
Doughty - 16GP, 1G, 6A, 7pts

They have had no answer for Burns.

They look about as disjointed as in the playoffs, and Quick is out for whatever amount of time. Solid start to the season.

Incredibly bad. No fight in the third. I think Quicky going out deflated the team somewhat. Still, they need to rise above and not get punked the way they did.

One game down. A loss. We've seen this rodeo before.

Is it just me or that "penalty" Greene was called for... who else thinks that's a solid hockey play?

For what ever reason, Drew is pressing VS the Sharks, he messes up easy plays.
 
First two lines were awful, with the exception of the Toffoli goal. Brown's play was flat out depressing.. to know that we're stuck with that contract for several more seasons..

Forbort and McNabb, both played nice. Andy was great, too. Zatkoff stepped in and was solid as well. Muzz had a strong game as well. Kopi is getting killed with his wingers.

We need Tanner and Gabby back. Quicky, how ar't thou?
 
Terrible team out there. They won't make the playoffs without some serious roster changes. Not sure why people keep bringing up Chicago.

Muzzin has been a rock, the guy is solid all around.
