Depending on Quick's injury this season could be over before it really starts.

Yeah. Lombardi didn't/couldn't do much over the summer. I'm not sure he believes in the team enough to go above and beyond anymore, plus just the cap issues. There's lower expectations heading into the season. Gaborik gets hurt. Now who knows with Quick.

Slowly piling up over the years. Been this, and that, and something else. That 2nd Cup win came at some sort of supernatural cost. An 0-3 comeback, and three Game 7 road wins in the same playoff year, and then winning the Cup on Friday the 13th. It's literally been one thing after another since then.

Setoguchi/Brown are gonna be good third liners, but their talent isn't good for the top line these days, not against elite top-sixers.

Gaborik and Pearson give this team some pretty damn significant forward depth imo. Dowd too.
