You can tell Gallagher is pretty irritated right now. Says the rangers are getting away with alot of infractions.

It sounds funny coming from Gallagher because he should be used to not getting any calls.

I watched the first period while babysitting my nine month niece. I have more or less no idea what happened on the ice. My attention span was fractured. Did the Habs play well?

Price makes me so ****ing sad. They say he's the best goalie... ****ing show it in the crunch moments of important games. Put your stamp on the team in the moments that matter...

Yes, it was a very soft goal. But that was far from a "crunch moment."

Typical Price, allows first goal but he usually shuts the door right after. We rarely see those softies from him in the last 5 minutes of the 3rd period.

He's won us series in the past. Relax sheesh

When the great goalies of the past won us Cups, no one will focus on what Price has done to just get us into the playoffs. To many posters here, he's "never won us a playoff series" but I seem to recall him besting Rask in 2014 and if he got more support on offence he could have done the same to Thomas in 2011. He also had a couple shutouts as a 20-year old in 2008 (before an admittedly cruddy series vs PHI).

If Price was doing playoff disappearing acts with a contender every year, I could buy the whole "playoff choker" label but honestly, maybe Price going to a team like the Hawks one day would prove that once and for all. He has that freedom to choose now. UFA coming up and while many would applaud us trading him, I hope they're ready for what kind of team we'll look like without him. It won't be pretty unless Lindgren develops into a #1 somehow :help:

Who the **** cares about his all around game when he does one thing that only 2 players on this team does well? Therrien doesn't count as a coach, he will never see an NHL gig again. The u23 team had a plethora of scoring forwards, so that's when you can factor his all around game. If we had a other 30 goal C to make up for Galchenyuks 1 turnover a game, then I'm fine with sending him a message. But never during the playoffs, you treat the playoffs as a brand new season, and you ice the best roster you have.

Julien legit believes right now that his scoring potential is outweighed by his overall game. Yes we only have 2 guys who can score but if you believe Galchenyuk is more likely to be responsible for a goal against than a goal for you don't play him just because we need scoring. I don't even think it's a smart decision by Julien, FWIW, I'm just saying he's overrated and there's something he's just not getting. It's crazy.

I don't think Julien is risking our playoff chances to punish 1 turnover a game, he obviously feels we're better off the less and more sheltered Galchenyuk plays.

If hasn't already been crystal ****ing clear to Bergevin, that first period was lost because of C ...can't win a faceoff to save their lives. on the PP, can't gain possession off these FO losses and that goal with plekanec and gallagher not tying up their men at circle

20 goal scoring giant 2way center available at the deadline and we missed out on him.

Those PP's were too cute. Put the puck on net, go for the garbage rebounds.
Leave Weber on the left, everyone knows the Habs are trying to setup the rotation... **** it, keep it simple and just put pucks on the net. Hank's giving up tons of rebounds.

The thing that's a bit frustrating during playoffs hockey is that the more the refs punish one team, the more they hide the whistle later on. They don't like tilting the ice in games like these.

No one cares
We are not paying the price and going to the middle of the ice between the circles, perimeter shots and scramble in front. It is tough to score like that and also, Cherry pointed out how Byron left his man on the goal, he does that every so often.

We actually won more then we lost and those glaring ones like on their goal or on the 5 on 3 it was our wingers that lost the face off by not doing the right thing. It happens all the time.

So far a terrible decision by him, one of the few players creating anything and he's playing on the 4th line.

I personally feel Price didn't see that one coming at all. It wasn't a stupid goal. It was just a really lucky goal for Glass.

Habs are doing great in the face off circle without Chucky at center!

What's the score again?

Maybe we will win the Yannick Perreault Cup for best FO % ! That's much better than a Stanley Cup!
