First time since 2002-2003 season that Bergeron won’t be on the opening night roster.

I was 8 years old.

Kind of strange thought for me. On the one hand its a shame that Poitras wont learn something from Bergy, on the other hand who knows if there would have been a roster spot for Poitras with Bergy still playing.

I think the boldest thing on this list is Beecher getting 25 points. Other wise I don’t think any of these things are out of the realm of possibility.

Hard to know what to expect out of this seasons lineup. I love they're giving a young guy a legit shot, Bergeron-esque storyline and hopefully he's good enough to stick for the season. Just happy to have hockey back and looking forward to these boards coming alive and seeing all the familiar posters back as well! Let's go Bruins!!

I am glad I will be able to view another season of Bruins hockey. It is a long season, so one loss shouldn't matter. I say this because my favorite player will be on the ice, I hope, Taylor Hall. I will be hoping that Taylor has a great night against the Bruins. That means goals against by him. That means some good defense from him.

Cheering for the Bruins naturally but this Hall trade reeks of the Boychuk trade. Time will tell. I am fully hoping Hall makes Sweeney look like a fool again this season for the trade. We will regret it.

I think Lucic -Beecher-Lauko has the potential to be the best 4th line since The Merlot Line.

This may be the highlight of the season along with Poitras.

As a kid I always liked Mike Bossy and hoped Bruins win 4 to 3 he gets all 3 for NYI so I understand what you are laying down.

I really have no idea what to expect this season. I know there were questions last year, but I was confident the Bruins were still a playoff team and they were (to say the least).

It'll be fascinating, weird for sure, but fascinating. There's only one way to find out. Can't wait!

Bossy was a helluva player. Best wrist shot I’ve ever seen.

He doesnt get mentioned enough when discussing all time greats IMO.

I am more optimistic for this years team than last years. 2023 was a dream turned into a nightmare.... this could be a wake up and lets dream again scenario. They have the goaltending and defence to compete with anyone. A deal to get Mason in the lineup and address the first line issue where we get a top notch winger/center on line 1... we are in business. Zacha on line 1 at center or LW. Come on Sweeney. Pull the rabbit out of the hat!

Poitras centering line 3 is the first dream come true. I feel he sticks around and eventually takes over C2 slot.

Very interesting start to the 100th season.

My friend played goalie in the NHL so when they played the Bruins, I always hoped the B's won 1-0,this way we get the points and he wouldn't have given up too many. Unfortunately he played for the leafs in the 80s so he wasn't involved in too many 1-0 games
