It's unfair to blame Vilardi for his injuries and to project him as a bust. It does though seem time for the long term medical fix even if he is out for the rest of this season. He's worth the wait.

To project him as a bust is very logical actually. He's in his teens with reoccurring injuries that he seemingly can't escape from, and as for a potentional new injury ? Yeah that projection is very reasonable. He's been injured more than he's been healthy since becoming a king.

Even without the back injury--which is the really worrying one--he's had a string of fluke injuries not unlike Justin Williams had before becoming a kind, IE the appendix thing and a knee injury. Kid needs to drink some f***ing milk.
