Let’s also not forget that it was one game against a team that’s almost as putrid as the Kings are.Let's not forget that useless players like Kempe and Lewis being out of the lineup have made the Kings more watchable. They had a much better flow with so much dead weight not sandbagging everyone else.

One thing everyone agreed on, after a year and change with the Kings, is that Kovalchuk was the worst player fit in team history. No one-ice set up, line combinations, or team strategies worked. Now he's been scratched, so we've got that going for us.
