Doesn't really matter to me. I still think of the blue as protected land. You touch the goalie inside of the blue, f you.

However, I'm also one of those weird ones that says if the goalie leaves their paint they should be able to be checked just like any other skater.

I’m a goalie and I agree with almost all of them. If Mikko had been hit into the goalie then it would’ve counted. He wasn’t. He fell on his ass by himself and stopped Forsberg from making the save with his skate.
