I already knew the three stars when you posted so I was able to confirm it was zero
My stream stopped, and didn't catch it. JEE, macklin and Kaprizov?

Still think someone atleast thought about it. So 1%

Some thoughts:

-any complacency we may have had should be vanquished after that defensive disaster

-bon voyage, MAF

-If Brazeau is out, bring up Ohgren and drop Freddy to 4C and Hartman is 3C

-Brodin is better with Spurgeon than he is Faber.

-Kaprizov & Ek remain the heartbeat of this team. Was plainly obvious.

-Boldy might be on the verge on one of his heaters.

-Celebrini is terrifying
I’d rather have Hinostroza than Ohgren

I'm not gonna panic too much about this defensive disaster until seeing Gus play with Kap and Ek in front of him.

I thought about it. It’d be pretty tough to give him it after 7 goals though (with one of them forcing OT). I don’t think he’d want it either, he’d probably find it a bit embarrassing.

I’m not a huge Hinostroza fan. Had a couple decent games, but I suspect the FO will go your preferred route.
His scoring has slowed down after his hot start, but the advanced stats still look solid for him.

Ohgren’s 5v5 numbers are really bad this year too. I think you have got to go with the vet that’s looked good with Hartman.

I wouldn't. Never know when it's gonna click for a youngster, and he's got ppg in the AHL, with over .5 goals per game while moving back and forth throughout the season. Hes been particularly hot lately.

Agree completely. Plays an honest game too, not like he is a liability without the puck.

Just caught the extended highlights of this one. Man, this would have been a loss without Kap and JEE back. Those guys are so important. Really awesome night for JEE, I'm happy for him even just as a REDACTED, nevermind Wild fan.

::Conspiracy hat on:: I'm too lazy to find out who mentioned this... but most OT wins record. I guess it's real. Would they?

They announced in the arena when we won that he had just passed Brodeur for it. It was tongue in cheek, but at the same time.....

Fleury was so atrocious I wouldn't even dress him in the post season if they get in. Just horrid.

He really was bad, and is completely unreliable. Unfortunately Wallstedt has been bad too, and also had a stinker last night. That Czech guy Hlavak (sp) seems to be playing well though

3 of the 4 goals scored against Wallstedt were on the PP. Hlavaj has been better this year, though.

- That game last night was great for the offense, even though it was against a bad team.
- MAF had a lot of time off, so i expected something like what we got. If memory serves, he also let in two weak goals last time out. If we need him for the playoffs, we are screwed.
- Brazeau gives us nothing. No offense, no speed, no physicality, little defense. I have this feeling that Hynes is playing him due to pressure from Guerin, who is trying to justify the trade for him. Hinnestroza isn't great, but at least chips in a bit on offense, and is faster. Ohgren is better, too, though I can see the argument that he it is better for his development to be playing top minutes and developing his offense in the AHL (which he is doing). We'll be seeing Ohgren once the AHL regular season is over, so hopefully he will play over Brazeau then.
- If we get Middleton back, this is the healthiest this team has ever been going into the playoffs. If we beat Calgary, Hynes can take the opportunity to cut back on Spurgeon, Brodin, and Faber's minutes, and maybe a forward or two who is banged up or tired(Zucc, Foligno?). It's interesting to see how good Ek is when he is rested and healthy. The time off has been a blessing in disguise for him.

Would love to see Faber get a few games rest. Think he needs it the most.

Brazeau is decent behind the net, and he did make a nice pass to Hartman that drew the penalty early. But still such an underwhelming player overall
