Despite the scoreline, this didn't feel like a super exciting game. Just kinda... sloppy, though seeing Ek score 4 and getting a proper Kap finish in OT is neat.

Some thoughts:

-any complacency we may have had should be vanquished after that defensive disaster

-bon voyage, MAF

-If Brazeau is out, bring up Ohgren and drop Freddy to 4C and Hartman is 3C

-Brodin is better with Spurgeon than he is Faber.

-Kaprizov & Ek remain the heartbeat of this team. Was plainly obvious.

-Boldy might be on the verge on one of his heaters.

-Celebrini is terrifying

It’d be pretty hard for a 8-7 game to not look sloppy

I agree though, not the type of game you’d win in the playoffs with. Still nice to see some scoring after what felt like half a season of 1-0 and 2-1 games.
