It's akin to barely flavored water. I'll drink it in a pinch, but most of it is just bland and almost tasteless. I can't imagine coming here as a foreigner and someone hands you a Bud or Miller or, something equally awful.

It's probably good, but you guys are also the ones that produced and distributed Samichlaus to the world and that stuff is absolutely vile. Definitely a deduction in points for that. That's, hands down one of the worst beverages I've ever poured into my mouth. Think the only thing I've had worse is accidentally grabbing a beer bottle that everyone had been putting their cigarettes out in when I was a teenager at a party.

Middle America, it's a rural thing, not big city. I can't say peanuts in beer is a thing although I like it and so does my brother. More likely to see peanuts in Pepsi than in beer. And that was my dads generation not mine (I'm 58). Guessing maybe it was a military thing like in WW2 or Korean war.
