100% , trolling is the best part of the internet. Although this 🤡 isn’t very good at it, I’m thinking English isn’t his native language
Absolutely. Maybe each team board needs a no holds bar troll GDT and and official team friendly GDT. I'd enjoy them both (unlike this new format)

I like that Jiricek is always willing to shoot.
I was all high on him and then I saw him skate back into the zone to retrieve a puck under no pressure and his stride looked like an 8 year old kid who was skating on their own without the chair for the first time

From what I gathered the new layout and appearance was temporary due to some failures to mesh with the old board layout

Yah that would never fly here. This site is filled with soy boy betas and Trudeau supporters. Every thread I’ve ever started is locked within minutes and even mild posts get deleted and warnings. I’ve given up doing anything here aside from the odd wild commentary and pointing out how useless zucchini is

who´s Webster?
He is you

Kaprizov might score 70 goals if you were to put him out there with McKinnon and Makar.

I think so, the avs get to run 3 Kaprizov level players. To win a cup we need kap plus boldy and rossi to peak at minimum ppg level players. Then have yurov and buium hit in a nice to big way to match or exceed that level.

At least it's possible.

How did Jiricek look?

Raw and, at times, awkward, but he did a lot of good things when he had the puck, passes and shots. More than I've seen from a Wild defenseman in a long time, he would make pinches that would require forwards to cover for him going the other way, but it never really bit us, and apart from that he wasn't really a liability. He's definitely aggressive, which is refreshing. And he's surprisingly strong too. If he can keep filling out his frame he'll be a physical force at the very least.

I think this was a good observation/point that was made:
If they can figure out how to make all those long limbs coordinate together and be better in short areas, everything else will come together.

Some other comments from other people during the game:
Jiricek is an awkward skater, but he's really smooth with the puck. His game has grown on me the more I've watched him. I actually like aggressiveness like him where he fills deep into the offensive zone and I think we have the system and players around him generally to fill his spot when he goes deep into the offensive zone. I can see though how he gets into trouble with his positioning and aggressiveness and how because of his size he's a little top heavy when he's moving laterally. He does seem to kind of make it work and to me it's not really that he can't get to the places he needs to get to on the ice he's just not that smooth. I think that leads to him being a little bit not positionally sound but his reach and frame probably will make up for that.
Extremely unpolished but offers something super unique - a booming shot and a big dman willing to make offensive risky pinches. Obviously needs to iron it out and make choose better moments but at least its interesting to see if that can be developed and rounded out.

I honestly think the reason there are so many mixed reviews on his skating is because his movement around the ice looks really awkward, but at the same time, it's functional, it works for the most part.

There were also a couple times where I did question if the hockey sense is there. Some moments where he seemed to lose track of the puck to focus on his man, also some moments where it looked like he was thinking about where he needed to be in the D zone, rather than just instinctually knowing.

But overall a solid game from him for where he's at currently.

What can you expect with that messed up blueline, they better get it fixed asap.

Guerin should pick up Lilleberg, a feisty Norwegian kid who demolished Brayden Schenn the other day, and tonight he knocked out Kastelic. The Wild could use a spark plug like this...

Tough game all in all, but the Wild never really believed they could win tonight it seemed. They beat themselves with those very avoidable two early goals. Rough night for the first line.

EDIT: Jiricek did not look out of place at all imo. Love the size and compete.

I would attribute this to "first game for the Wild". The tools are clearly there and if he can get more opportunities I think this guy can be quite an asset. He needs experience and confidence both of which will take time to develop.

I disagree. Avs always have a half dozen plugs in the lineup. We have considerably more organization depth and a half dozen lottery tickets in the bluechip prospects we have who are knocking on the door. Middleton, Buium, Chisholm, Bogo & Jiricek as your 4-8D is going to win us a lot of games when we get healthy.

We need another weapon in the Top 6 (Yurov? Boeser?) and to figure out what to do with Zuccarello. He’s great when he’s fresh and awesome on the PP, but he’s way too often a liability at 5v5.

The more weapons the better, depth is nice if they score but they often don't.
