I agree on this (although I like Faber on the PP too). I was mostly impressed by his creativity, aggressiveness, and hands in how he managed space and found players tape to tape on the breakout and even making stretch passes and things like that. He was able to creatively use his skating and hands to make fore checkers back off and create space for himself and then was making really decisive and aggressive decisions to find guys up the ice. I also like his shot/one-timer and ability to walk the blue line and change angles. Faber is generally good at doing these things too, but Chisholm was better than Faber at this last night. These skills are probably the most important offensive skills for a d man. I get that he's a little bit inconsistent at times as a defender but again we don't need him to be top pairing guy... if he was as good at Faber as cutting off space as a defender that's a top 4 defender.
I 100% want Chisholm around for the long-term. This is an incredible find.
