Yeah, I'm not crazy about him as Captain, but it is what it is.
Make Middleton the captain. Neither Ek nor Kap strike me as vocal leaders either.

Remember the last few games how excited we were? Hey...we got Zucc and his leftover testicle back. Hey...we got Gus back. Things should be better now.

I don't feel like it's worked out like that much at all.
We to be fair Middleton is a big loss and Kap is kind of a loss too.

Hey, on the bright side, in general, things can only get better from here on
Don't...don't do that. Good chance this team takes that as a challenge to really shit the bed.

Well, on the bright side of that, we'd actually get our pick back if it was top 5

I can't imagine subjecting him to this dumpster fire would be much of a positive benefit to his development.

I also don't imagine it would help the team in any meaningful way

Is Boldy still waiver exempt?

Okay never mind, that was a pretty soft penalty

I mean the stars aren’t really all that great right now either , it’s not like we are being steamrolled by a juggernaut

If you look at it like this, Boldy is good for one goal a game. He's guaranteed to be in the penalty box at least once. And with the PK as colossally wretched as it is, the opposing team is for sure going to score. So, while it isn't a goal in the teams favor, he is responsible for it. So, the way I look at it, Boldy is at a PPG pace.

Kind of amazing to see the super highs and the super lows all before the new year. Still I bet we turn it around at some point, maybe find a happy middle or upper middle. These "wild" swings are a little too "wild".

I also don't imagine it would help the team in any meaningful way

I agree but if hartman is going to be useless we might as well try something.
