Blackwood has a 0.950 on his first game. Wedgewood has 0.931 after 5 games.

We've got that excuse out of the way, time to start playing properly now boys. Today wasn't that great. At this point, we need points but need to start playing better too. Nashville (or any team) should not be able to have 40 shots on goal in our own building. This team is built upon controlling the puck and limiting the oponents shots. Today was none of that.
Yeah pretty much everyone outside 29 and Blackwood played like shit. Not ideal, they've got to be much better.

Something Blackwood said during his media availability the other day, just completely jumped back into my mind. He was talking about how everyone loves the nights where they're at their absolute best and everything is easy. But the question is...how good is your B game? When things aren't going your way. When you have to fight...how good is your B game?

The Avs B game, with illness/flu taking the jump out of some folks, was still effective but Blackwood brought his A game just in case.

I will give them some leeway if it's true that there's a sickness going through the locker room. Bednar said it after the Utah game, and now Colton too.

I can easily imagine this being a 1-8 stomping with Georgiev or Annunen.

Bednar just said LOC was puking after the 1st, so something is definitely going around that locker room.

I’d argue that the Avs didn’t even play their B game tonight. It was like F in the 1st, D in the 2nd, C+ in the 3rd = C for the game. Lucky for us Blackwood brought his A game

Tip on tip, mouth on mouth. WOOD ON WOOD LETS GO

I love this picture. No glove tap, head tap, half-hearted hug.

Two hands around embrace.

Real.

Makes sense why I saw LOC hacking up a lung during the 2nd.

MacKinnon once again gave f*** all about showing up for that 2nd star
Must love playing for the fans
People laugh and think it's no big deal but I disagree. That's one thing that takes no time and no effort at all.

Fans are the only reason why he'll make more than 100M dollars in his career. Take the 3 seconds to waive at the crowd when you get a star at home please.
Perhaps being super good at hockey might be why instead of just fans?

edit: other two are macking on each other

I'm a dumbass, just realized that I wrote effective instead of ineffective. I've been struggling with tenses a lot to. Freaking chemo, normally it just looks like mispelling, but in this case completely changes things. The Avs B-Game, with the illness, is still ineffective but Blackwood brought his A Game just in case. That's the thought I was trying to convey.

Both Wedgewood and Blackwood seem super chill for goalies.

I'm wondering how much personality was taken into account with these two.
Did you miss the CMac presser? He especially went out of his way to say that both goalies are the perfect fit to the organization and locker room via their personality.

Best of luck to you
Thanks man. Dec. 26th, will mark five years of the battle, I've been extremely fortunate in my journey so far. I say it jokingly, but it really is true. If you were to have to have cancer, there is absolutely no better time in the history of humanity than to have it today. We are getting much bettter, to the point of almost being able to managing a lot of types, but unfortunately, not all by any means. Still it seems like I'm reading of a new positive study almost every month if not more frequently. It just takes so long for promising tests to develop into human approved usage that actually outweighs any potential negative side-effects.
