Carter mentioned it during the start of the game: the Wild do not score enough goals and while this will work for a while at some point it will catch up to us. The team needs to put the puck into the net more consistently pretty soon.

Call me a broken record, but I think putting Rossi back with Kaprizov full time could help. First line isn't scoring enough to ake up for the lack of depth scoring and I think it's because they have the wrong combinations of guys. Every time Rossi and Kaprizov are on the ice together something good seems to happen between them.

And Ek would probably be a better fit with Hartman.

Totally agree. Which is why it is important for Guerin to add another scoring piece near the deadline.

Trade a 2nd + LD prospect + something for a rental like Nelson. I’d rather not trade any 1st round picks for rentals. It’s wayyy better to trade them for young players that project as top of the lineup with some development… If you catch my drift.
