they beat the defending champs two days ago dude, take a breath
Who are playing dog shit hockey in their own rights, not exactly a huge win....

On the trip they beat a terrible Philly team, a shell shocked Washington who just lost Ovi the game prior, and a Florida team that's lost like 5 of 6. The only team that was remotely playing good hockey was Tampa who absolutely took us to the woodshed. Not exactly inspiring hockey.

Got to think this might be the last game Annunen gets with this franchise. Bednar hates him.

Also got to think that Bednar is on thin ice. He's a f***ing joke at this point. Guys are rarely ready, effort is f***ing terrible almost all nights, holds no one accountable except our backup goalie, can't adjust to any play style, it's beyond bad at this point. You can clearly tell no one is remotely listening nor can they play his crap ass system with the current roster.
Lmao what a clown post.

Our team is getting .870 goaltending and we're 2 games above .500... Quite frankly Bednar deserves Jack Adams consideration for the record he's managed so far with the goaltending and the injuries he's had to work with in the first 45 days.

Ah yes the poster who would argue and tell me I'm wrong if I claimed the sky was blue. Color me shocked you disagree with me. Lol.

Bednar has been on a decline for 2 years. The team has been very mid considering they have 2 of the 3 best players on the planet on the team.

Guy won a cup. So what, it's been pretty so so since then. Sometimes a change is needed, we are quickly headed in that direction. Injuries, bad goaltending, you can call it what you want. But the facts are pretty simple, if 29 and 8 don't flat carry, we lose. There's no coaching strategy or thought, it's just run 29 and 8 into the ground and hope...

Well, it was a dark, dreary day and we got nailed with 7 inches of snow. I'd say he was right if he did.

Hopefully that’s the worst loss of the season. Similar to last year when the Avs gave up eight to the Blues and Bednar lost it at the postgame presser.

I really do think Bednar was finished with Annunen after that goal in the Sens game but this probably sealed the deal. Feels like the time Johansson gave up 8 to the Bolts and he was essentially gone after that.

I have a growing concern about Nathan MacKinnon. He just looks off right now. Can’t quite pin it down but I really want to say it happened after Nuke came back. He just looks so lifeless out there compared to how he usually plays. And I’m not even saying it really has anything to do with Nuke, that’s just when I noticed it.

Did not like Bednar’s lineup changes. I don’t think you take Kylington out after his first goal and getting the big hat. Wait until, well, this one. I also didn’t like that he put a career AHLer on the 2nd line and put Lehkonen back with MacKinnon. I mean, enough with Tynan. If you’re gonna call up anyone, why not Phillips?

They had a dayoff in Florida and then this happens. Not everyone had a "diciplined" time after the win against Panthers is just too evident here.

Oh well, 3-1 on a roadtrip doesn't suck. Also reminding the front office our tending ain't close to reliable doesn't suck.
Losing Drouin again sucks.

Stinkers like this always happen in a season. Go home and bounce back like you mean it!

What he's saying ... regarding George... is the defense in front of him sucked.

I mean, does Devon Toews not know how to play a 2 on 1?

Does Devon Toews also have a pulled hamstring that allows him to coast back on a different 2 on 1?

Does Josh Manson not under stand how to play his position on the PK?

As a group, they were terrible and hung George out to dry multiple times.

And I'm not a fan of George. But I get his frustration.

His D and fwds playing D ran around the zone like chickens with their heads cut off.
I guess Toews could have done better on that goal, position himself better, but the puck still deflected off Georgiev straight to the Glendening’s stick.

Agreed. Lets not overreact. Cant win every game, and sometimes the puck luck is not on your side. The only thing we learned from this, that our goalies are not good enough, but its not like we did not know that beforehand.

I say Landeskogs situation is once again f***ing us up. Thats 7 millions that we could use on a proper goalie and maybe better third pairing D-man.

Lets see how many more years Gabe is willing to piss on everyone's cereal for that desperate comeback

Everyone, whos name doesn't start or at least ends with an "Ivan", sucked ass tonight!

Drouin being hurt again also sucks ass!

6/8 points on this road trip su ... well, is pretty good, actually.

But man ... what a tough watch that was.

Hopefully the Avs respond well against Vegas, and hopefully Drouins day2day is an actual day2day
this time!

Good day folks.

I must hate myself, I watched the whole game. I was hoping to see some fight or anger from the team but that was just an embarrassing overall nightmare.

Two positive takeaways:

IIvvaann looked pretty good
Colorado now has a great lake, Juice's five hole.

Oh and that was also the worst Altitude broadcast of all time, that didn't help my mood.

This reaction , i hate it with passion ! His job is to stop the puck and he's been doing a poor job at it for a while now . I can't stand his tantrums when he should shut up and look at himself in a mirror to begin with.
Especially since he's probably done it a dozen times over the last year. A goalie with a .871 save percentage has no right to be doing that.

Bednar better be chewing these guys out and getting them ready to come out strong for the 4th. This game is still in reach.

I can kinda understand Georgiev throwing fits. To go from being at the top of the league in the first year of a short contract to playing yourself out of one at the end of it. I'm not saying it's right but that has to be hard to make peace with if you're already an emotional roller coaster kind of guy.

Exactly this. If that's prime Roy doing that, fine whatever. We are talking a guy who has a .871 save percentage who sucks more often than he's good. You have no right to have a hissy fit when you're more often than not, the problem.

He's a human. Being good at his job doesn't give him more rights to getting frustrated than being bad at his job. These are top athletes, who have been competitive their entire lives, otherwise they wouldn't be in the NHL. And being a competitive person he's going to blow up from time to time. Of all the things to be calling him out for, this one is a stretch to me. Who gives a f*** if he's frustrated. Let him let it out so long as it's not doing any harm to anyone. I think people need to learn to separate the human being from the job they are doing. If he broke down crying he'd probably be called a p***y, but he would be allowed to jump up and down and celebrate? Why are some emotions OK and others not? Let George be a human with real human emotions.

Does that mean I like his performances? f*** no. He'd been better of late, until last night. But why do you want your players to be emotionless robots?

He wasn't mad himself, he was mad at his team that left him out to dry on that one particular goal.

That's a shit look when you're consistently giving up bad goals and your team doesn't show you up.
