GDT: G22: Avs (12-9-0) @ Lightning (10-7-2) - Mon Nov 25 @ 5 PM MST

Perhaps it wouldn't have made a difference but Bednar's lineup choices are still bothering me.

I know Georgiev ain't great but he had been the better goalie recently and Bednar decides to throw Annunen out there when he hasn't looked sharp the last couple time we had seen him against one of the best teams in the league.

Then he had Kylington finally looking better with the team and played his best game of the season on Saturday, but Bednar decides to trot out de Haan again who not only caused the first goal to happen but looked slow and can never get a shot through.

If something is working at the moment don't try to change it up.

I'm not going to be too hard on Georgiev tonight since he had to come into the game like that and I can't blame him on the shorty he let in but he didn't come in and save the day either. Neither one of them looked good. That shit from Bednar where he piles on Annunen every time and won't say boo to Georgiev bothers me a lot.

Bednar: Isn’t there someone we can bring in as a #1 replacement?

MacFarland: No, they ask too much. And certainly not until the trade deadline.

Bednar: OK. I’ll try to make it work with Georgiev.

He doesn't quit. Seems to always be a half step out of synch or position on opportunities. But he never quits hustling ofter the puck.

See that from Ivan and Taylor and Kellyand Malinski as well.

My day just started and it's ruined already. Fast forwarded through that shit after 4-1 and that's about the only thing I'm glad about.

What he's saying ... regarding George... is the defense in front of him sucked.

I mean, does Devon Toews not know how to play a 2 on 1?

Does Devon Toews also have a pulled hamstring that allows him to coast back on a different 2 on 1?

Does Josh Manson not under stand how to play his position on the PK?

As a group, they were terrible and hung George out to dry multiple times.

And I'm not a fan of George. But I get his frustration.

His D and fwds playing D ran around the zone like chickens with their heads cut off.

Hvae no idea why I'm watching this turkey. The game was over before I got home from work. Anyways, Moser is freaking killing me suggesting that Toews should be on Team Canada. I mean, sure if you're rooting for one of the other countries, but why would Canada want to do that?
 
Got to think this might be the last game Annunen gets with this franchise. Bednar hates him.

Also got to think that Bednar is on thin ice. He's a f***ing joke at this point. Guys are rarely ready, effort is f***ing terrible almost all nights, holds no one accountable except our backup goalie, can't adjust to any play style, it's beyond bad at this point. You can clearly tell no one is remotely listening nor can they play his crap ass system with the current roster.

CMac better be on the phone right now finding some kind of passable goalie trade, this shit can't continue. Every night no matter who's in net, we are in the f***ing hole trying to claw out of it. Can't win when your are always down 1 or 2 in the first 5 mins. If he's not working the phone he should be shown the door. He's a clown. This goalie thing has been an issue for who knows how long, and he continues to do nothing. Completely unacceptable.

Not much else to say. This season is just getting old fast. It's the same shit every night, that leads to a so so team, that is not even remotely competitive when we play teams that can play hockey at a competent level, and they will be extremely lucky to make the playoffs.
