That's what I'm saying! Gus gave up 2 goals in 2 minutes. Fleury gave up 2 in 7 minutes. The team definitely didn't allow the type of opportunities that Dallas scored on today when Gus was in net.

The question for me is does the team play worse in front of Fleury? So far, I'd say yes.

She's handling it like a champ. A bit nervous, but more pissed off than anything. I'll gladly take that, because her predecessor really struggled with storms. It was so sad watching her shake and try to hide.

You can't remove the critique of the decision from people's opinion on the game. Coaching decisions like this directly affect things. Gus has consistently played better than Fleury all season abs just came off an incredible game.

I think it's simply that you play differently with different goalies in the net subconsciously. That can be good or bad and it can compound in lots of little ways that lead to a results that we see.
