Need to get some offense out of Zucc and Foligno. More than a point every third or 4th game.

I’m not blaming Fluery here , but it’s just so stupid to not ride a hot goalie

They definitely weathered the storm after some pretty bad play and gained momentum as the period went on.

People are just running with a narrative about the goalies.
The other night there were some posts about Gus after the two goals and they weathered the storm. Hopefully they can do it again tonight. It’s just so unpredictable with flower.

Yet, didn't I say before the game, switch goalies once cracks show? You ride the hot goalie when he's hot, once he's not, switch.

Just ask JL in 2003.
Anything to fit a narrative. Just cause JL did it doesn't mean that this team needs to do it.

Gus could have given up the exact same goals and you wouldn't be saying shit.
But at least the thought process leading to him starting is solid.

If I'm wrong, and he actually couldn't go because he was "tired", then whatever, but I have extreme doubts about it.

To me, and this is just my thought, is that the organization is content with the split and are using the 1.5OT as a reason to go with a guy that they like playing, for whatever reason that might be. Of course I'm sure they don't think that playing Fleury is throwing in the towel or anything, but it's still pretty unprecedented.

That's what I'm saying! Gus gave up 2 goals in 2 minutes. Fleury gave up 2 in 7 minutes. The team definitely didn't allow the type of opportunities that Dallas scored on today when Gus was in net.

The question for me is does the team play worse in front of Fleury? So far, I'd say yes.
