This was one where my skipping around while reading led to me misunderstanding which No. 97 they were talking about. I was shocked that Kaprizov was already 97th place in NHL scoring history. There were a lot of 97s in that paragraph.
He plays like he’s afraid of contact. Can’t imagine what Guerin likes about him.Is Johansson totally worthless along the boards? His idea of a board battle is a stick lift. Totally lame backchecks as well.
Everything not in yellow is superfluous. The statement in yellow is all that was needed. Is Johansson totally worthless along the boards? His idea of a board battle is a stick lift. Totally lame backchecks as well.
CorrectEverything not in yellow is superfluous. The statement in yellow is all that was needed.
Heard a funny saying of players like that. "(insert player name) could go into a board battle with a carton of eggs and at the end of it not one egg would be even cracked!"Is Johansson totally worthless along the boards? His idea of a board battle is a stick lift. Totally lame backchecks as well.
Jinxed it dammit. I see through your liesPre gratz on the 2 points as usual when we play you guys
Superfluous.Everything not in yellow is superfluous. The statement in yellow is all that was needed.
Eh, yeah, but that's all sports though. Unless it's a postgame where they're all spun up about something an overwhelming majority of sports interviews are just cliche' after cliche'. They never say anything of note.Man... watching this pregame and interview with Hynes. I know what the tone of these segments are, but shit, how cool would it be for Pants or Walz to throw out real hard ball questions as opposed to the standard, soft, questions.... "Hey, Coach. What are your ling term plans for Rossi and what are we doing with him currently?""would be super refreshing
Yep, i totally get it and don't expect anything of substance. Would be cool thoughEh, yeah, but that's all sports though. Unless it's a postgame where they're all spun up about something an overwhelming majority of sports interviews are just cliche' after cliche'. They never say anything of note.
It would be cool, but if they ask too many hard questions I can imagine that the relationship would deteriorate and they would get less access behind the scenes than what they have. Or they would get even less information in the interviews they are granted. It is such a give and take relationship and they likely know so much more that goes on that they are not keen on divulging.Man... watching this pregame and interview with Hynes.
