How does Barbashev get a roughing penalty at the end of the period there. He was just laughing at the Wild's attempts to intimidate him.

Husso made a great save near the end of the period.

Great 1st Period by The Blues, staving off The Wild's heavy push. Husso has been very good against some very good scoring chances by The Wild shooters. Their forecheck has been very tough for The Blues to handle. I hope The Blues can move the puck forward more easily the rest of the game.

Unbelievably clutch save at the end the period to bail out Parayko.

Yeah. I'm not gonna complain how Husso's played since he hasn't let up any goals and they're up 2-0, but I feel like he's going to give 2-3 WTF goals this series based off how loose he's playing.

At least he isn't a ticking time bomb with playing the puck like Allen.
Or Binnington. God forbid Husso craps the bed.

Oh i think it’s plenty noticeably how important he is when he’s missing. He brings that toughness that other guys feed off of. He was one Army’s finest acquisitions
Fair point. I could have been clearer. I think your Blues still played very solid, physical hockey even without Brayden. He takes them up several notches when he’s playing, which makes him a difference maker when it counts, imho.

You love to see it
Only one period. We have a issue playing a full 60 and letting teams back in to a game.

I am looking forward to Dumba crying like a little girl again in this series tho. Hes such a mentally soft baby.

I'm not as concerned with Binnington's ability to play the puck as I am for him to stopping them from going in atm.

I'm horrified at the idea of going to St. Louis down 2-0 and starting Binnington this series.
