As someone who has watched AHL hockey live for the past 20+ years, it's insane that this is even a thought, but I agree. He's been insanely good so far, which blows my mind given his age.

The shootout was a nice showcase. The agility and speed,, the way he plays the net is just amazing.

Levi getting the start in back to backs. Is Granato gonna play him 82 games next season?

Kid is Impressive! Never doubted it for a minute. But come on, Devon, Team Canada needs you, Power and Cozens at the WHC next month. Keep that in mind.

While its very unlikely the Sabres make the playoffs, this atleast gives me something to look forward to. Quinn might even get on that team hes come on strong late in the season.

Yeah - I'm having to change my mind on this one. I was certain he was AHL bound next year. But now it doesn't look that way. I still think the adjustment to the 82-game grind is going to be big next year, but I'm having trouble seeing them sending him to Roch next year.

Only an act of god is going to keep the Sabers out of the playoffs next year and thank god for that as I have been saying for what seems like forever this might be the year they make it.

Watching him play has made me feel a lot better about the Reinhart trade. I know Buffalo fans are excited but I would bet money he is not a good NHL starter, ever. I am sorry but he is just way too tiny in that net and once the league scouts him a little more...yea not happening.

We don't have a lot of good goalie putting good number every year, maybe 10. The rest of the pack is always changing...

Levi is sharp in his mind. That's the difference. He small but he have the skills, but mostly he have his mind. Futur top 10 goalie incoming

It's over his right shoulder and he may need to grow more than few inches to prevent the puck from going over his shoulder.

I’m in the camp that believes the plan next year is for Levi to be in the NHL. They’ll have to get a steady veteran goalie to pair with him...Comrie and UPL are trash who cant figure out their own shit…they can’t be the only option when Levi struggles. You’re just throwing away another season.

Buffalo didn’t trust either Comrie or UPL to play at all down the stretch. They can’t be an NHL option when you’re risking Levi’s development and another lost season. They had a year to earn something and they were awful. Waive Comrie and use him in the AHL. If someone actually claims him for the NHL roster…laugh and claim whoever they waive to make room. You’re getting an upgrade. UPL…trade him for whatever. He’s big, young and GMs are stupid.
