He will begin next season in the AHL. If he excels and the Sabres don’t otherwise have a clear number 1 playing well at the moment, he will get called up and be given a chance. It’s as simple as that.

Lyon is good, and so is Levi. Their stats are both better than anyone the Blues currently have.

Also i'm rewatching last nights game, and some of these shots Levi has to stop for Buffalo. I get the Larkin tip on goal #2, but he's moving a bit too much. He's also being given absolutely nothing to work with by the Sabres defense, where he's getting screened poorly.

Even last game, there were a number of ridiculous bounces and horrid defensive breakdowns. He made some clutch saves and Sabres fans seemed happy with his play.
