Could probably be a first rounder with those numbers. Starting to think Team Canada should have chosen Hart over Blackwood.

If he's legit, I would hope if Leafs get a 3rd 1st rounder or if Hart slips to the early 2nd that he would be in play. To veteran WHL watchers how does he compare to guys like Cam Ward, Holtby, Price, Dubnyk or other top goalies from recent years?
Can someone give me the breakdown on Harts strengths/weaknesses and projected pick in this years draft?
Watched a highlight video, looks like a calm, efficient goaltender who has good control over his crease. Slightly undersized it seems at 6'0, but plenty of time to grow into a few inches.
http://www.draftsite.com/nhl/player/carter-hart/23482/Projected as the top golfer in the class. An confident goalie who is agile and flexible, and possesses a super-quick glove. Has the ability to swing momentum in his team’s favor. Squares up on shooters and is quick going post to post. Displays good rebound control, excellent reaction time, flexibility and flattens very low in the butterfly. Teams will be concerned if he is going grow bigger than his present six foot. His glove, reflexes, and quick pads are what have got him this far.
At 6-foot-1, he’s not a monster, but he also won’t let his frame dictate his worth…Hart would like to improve on his puckhandling ability, but otherwise he has a lot of nice attributes. The youngster prides himself on his calm in the crease and he plays a reactive hybrid style.
http://thehockeywriters.com/carter-hart-the-next-ones-nhl-2016-draft-prospect-profile/There likely won’t be any goalies going in the first round of the NHL draft this season and with Hart looking like the top North American backstop in the draft, we could see someone land the Silvertips netminder in the top seven to ten picks of the second round.
This is all I could find on him. Seems like he has the potential to be a good number one goalie if he pans out.

Heard Leaf fans wanted to target this guy so he'd be a perfect fit for them then

Would it be crazy to draft him at 32nd (this is assuming no projected first rounders fall to the second round)?
I expect the Leafs pick him up at 30 or 31 unless they trade those picks.
Matthews, Clague and Hart would be a pretty good haul from those picks.
I kind of want Johansen over Clague but won't be upset if we took him.
I'm not sure which is the better fit for the Leafs, I just think Clague is the better prospect.
If they trade for Anderson maybe Hart's not a slam dunk, but I think the kid is fantastic and would really fill an obvious hole on your depth chart. Trading for Anderson and drafting Hart would be ideal.
IMO Hart is the first goalie taken in this draft. He's had an outstanding 2 years in the CHL. He's one of the only goalies in CHL history to win the top goalie award as a 17 year old. If he were 1 inch taller we'd be taking about a top 20 pick.
