Then they played amazing for 8 games in the playoffs and I forgot the LT reality of this team

Rielly might be the only really bad contact by next year and hopefully he rebounds a bit. Nylander is fine. Matthews is one year past a 69 goal and another year past an mvp. Based on what's available in free agency, there's about a 90% chance the result is worse. Keep in mind that in terms of forwards, we are releasing the #1 and #3 ranked free agents. And #6 is a 37-year-old Brad Marchand, who may or may not have anything left in the tank after this year.
