As has been said a few times in here already, SS said the decision has been made, then followed that up with highly likely will be drafting this year.

Maybe the Sens can trade 21 and a highly sought after, multi faceted , projected 30 goal scorer Zetterlund and our top forward prospect to get into the top 10

Upon hearing that Staios successfully orchestrated this deal out of conference with the Seattle Kraken for 8OA only seconds before the pick had to be announced .. Don Boyd not able to contain himself, almost fell running to the stage to announce the Senators are proud to select from the US National Development program

When has he ever just said anything? He's the 100% opposite of Dorion. Don't you find it refreshing that the whole league doesn't know what's going on with the Sens? Highly likely we are drafting....could mean trading it, useing it or forfiting it. A descision has be made though. Lol. I love it! Since day 1 it's been like this. I believe that the lost pick had to be "given up" before the draft lottery was held. So, the team now has to "give up" the 2026 pick.

I very much doubt that Desnoyers will be drafted out of the top 10 in the draft, let alone the second round. He is rated at #6 on Talkathon, #9 at Elite Prospects and #6 by the Bobfather! He has impressed a lot of the prospect ranking people.

No way I'm trading batherson and a 1st for peterka. Not sure if you were suggesting that.
