Yeah, I'm with you. I don't see the Zib/Hayes 1-2 punch. Unless front office is higher on Hayes than we are? I just don't think he fits our high octane speed game.

For sure, it killed us with Hank for a long time, we had to adjust a game plan to work around Hank's contract. Then you factor in who they lost, and they haven't signed Gally yet. YIKES!

I agree, best blue line we've had in a long time and we were 4th in goals scored last year.

I think this is extremely accurate. The 1C is a huge hole. It was prior to Stepan, and with Stepan gone, it's an even bigger hole.

I don't see Zib / Hayes / Nieves / Andersson as the centers on this team.

Leaves Little & Sedin? Not sure I'd even want Stastny if the Blues moved him at the deadline. Sedin is probably slow, although I admittedly have not watched many VAN games anytime recently. Certainly not much to work with there.
