Clarkson was brought in to play 2nd line minutes

Probably should have clarified that Clarkson would play PP minutes. :)

Putting McClement, Bolland and Clarkson together just hits the spot, though. Perfect combo of toughness, peskiness, defensive skill and some goal scoring potential.

That said, I wouldn't be overly surprised if Clarkson starts playing alongside Kadri and VR/Lups.

Well...it's not as bad as i expected. I would have rathered 5 years over 7. But, it's ok. Not good, not bad.

Leafs have talked to Ian White, Matt Cooke and Tom Gilbert today. I have also heard the Kaberle camp contacted the Leafs about a possible return. Nonis doesn't seem interested.

I'm glad we took Grabovski's salary and moved it to the 3rd line wing position.

It was always gonna be Grabo or Bozie.

Bozie costs less and brings more intangibles. Better faceoffs, better penalty killer, better chemistry and relationship with our franchise player.
