Burns really shouldn't have much value around the league with his 8M cap hit.

We're one of the only teams that cares more about salary owed, so the fit makes sense.

Yes.

He isn't the ideal target but I'd have to think it is also about who will take Zaitsev back.

We may not get the ideal D but them's the breaks. We have to get rid of Zaitsev so any trade for D will be contingent on who will take him.

Burns an intriguing name, he would be the role we could really benefit from if the money fit. Would be hilarious to see the look on karlssons face if we did that, although i guess he'd be happy getting more cookie time. Feels weird to be excited on free agent day
