I'd be hesitant but I'd do it too, especially if we're keeping Norris.I'd trade pinto for Peterka ngl.
Zub, Jensen and Ullmark also missed time, which are important players.Assuming they come back tomorrow and stay in the line-up, they will have both played 70+ games this year.
No injuries to Stützle or Batherson. A handful of games missed between Brady, Sanderson and Chabot.
This is as good as it gets from an injury perspective. Obviously some bad luck with the timing right now but that’s why I said they can’t be losing all 5 games. If they’d gotten 4 pts in this stretch instead of 0 they’d be in a playoff spot still.
I get your larger point about injury history though, and I don’t disagree. But most teams have guys that are injury prone.
I'd trade pinto for Peterka ngl.
The only key players that have missed significant time this year are Zub and Ullmark.Zub, Jensen and Ullmark also missed time, which are important players.
Pinto missed serious time over an injury once. So I’m not ready to callI agree, but this is what so many of us have feared - Norris and Pinto unable to stay healthy. Might not be their shoulders this go around, but wouldn't that be worse than if it was?
Brady I'm not overly concerned about, though if he doesn't play Saturday that will likely change.
This tEdam needs creativity and speed and shooting.Reading between the lines, this means Tanev wouldn’t waive to come here but would gladly sign here in the offseason if we overpay.
Don’t have much interest in him personally
I mean if you make the argument lf overcoming ones injury then you can make the same with Columbus and them overcoming injuries only with very unsustainable pdo.The only key players that have missed significant time this year are Zub and Ullmark.
And we overcame Ullmark’s injury because we had depth in goal, which was the larger point. I really don’t see a season going much better than this one from an injury perspective if we measure the circumstances as of today.
Obviously if our three guys return in April I’ll take it back. But I don’t think injuries are why we are where we are (which is not a bad place anyway).
Yep that’s why I added them to your list. The only key players that have missed significant time this year are Zub and Ullmark.
Sens twitter really thinks we’re acquiring some star players at the deadline
Word on the street is that Staios has made Nordberg available and it has understandably created a lot of interest around the league.Sens twitter really thinks we’re acquiring some star players at the deadline

I like Pinto .. Pinto has not reached his potential and has some versatility in both offensive roles and defensive roles...I'd trade pinto for Peterka ngl.
NoI'm going to get shredded, but I'd pay a relatively absurd amount to get Brayden Schenn in Ottawa if they took back bodies to make the cap work (and it sounds like a relatively absurd price is what it would take Armstrong to even consider it)
To St-Louis:
David Perron (might be one of the only places he would waive for, team gets to "do right by the player")
Mike Amadio (Having Perron + Amadio in the deal makes the deal cap neutral and SS gets a re-do)
OTT 1st 2025
OTT 2nd 2025
OTT 3rd 2025
Any combination of prospects not named Carter Yakemchuk
To Ottawa:
Brayden Schenn
Nathan Walker (cheap warm body who can play a shift if needed)
Blues only have 3 picks in the upcoming draft, maybe 3 valuable draft picks gets them to bite on trading their captain and heart and soul. Go trade JBD++ for Luke Schenn to appease Brayden/get him to waive his NMC to come here.
B.Schenn - Stutzle - Giroux
Tkachuk - Norris - Batherson
Greig - Pinto - Highmore
Reinhardt - Gregor - Gaudette
Jenik/Walker
Sanderson - Zub
Chabot - Jensen
Kleven - L.Schenn
Hamonic/Mantipalo
Ullmark
Forsberg
Merilainen

I don't think Buffalo is interested in more picks, but I would trade a (lottery protected) 1st for Peterka.
There is a risk since it forces us to give up the 2026 1st, but we need to get better quick.
