Both kakko and mangiapane (another name mentioned recently in this thread)would be good linemates for stu. Defensively conscious wingers who can skate. Mangiapane can also finish.

I’m not really seeing it. I think his best case is a complimentary top 6 winger or a really good 3C. I don’t know how much value you get for that in a trade considering his recent struggles, feel like most teams want top 6 centres or guys with that kind of upside.

I think he can be a solid complimentary top 6 winger who can play with very skilled guys. I think if a GM gives us a solid deal in return, it'll be because of the intangibles they perceive from him.

I don't think his play this year has hurt his value or changed the projection on him, largely because he has such a solid floor as a player. He's not a top 6 or bust player, and to me he's always been the kind of guy who'll hit his ceiling further down the road as he physically matures.

It’s hard to say. Personally I’d be lying if I said I have no concerns about his inability to generate anything even when he was playing with our best players but I also recognize he’s young and probably needs more strength to play his game effectively.

I don’t think so. He’s still young. His value is not at its lowest.

At this point his value will be highest if he starts playing incredible for us. Then why would we trade him?

I’m sure he’s got decent value around the league.

What has he ever done in the NHL or in junior that shows he can be a konecny type of player lol

If Greig develops Konecny upside, we're in a very good position.

I think a 40-50 point winger who can play the PK-PP is what Greig's ceiling is. He's playing in all situations but has just taken a major step back in scoring. If he gets his scoring up, he's exactly what we need, not a star winger or centre, just a depth guy that can contribute in the middle 6.
