Sorry, I meant to say the organization shouldn't trade him, not that they can't. They can be ruthless like Vegas or NYR, but not sure if its best to do that when we have trouble attracting FAs, unless of course the unlikely event of a deal being far too good to pass comes up.
I think any player can be traded depending on the return. This has been proven before with Gretzky being traded from Edmonton to LA.

There can be circumstances where the trade may be required for financial reasons (Gretzky was one of those, as was the Selanne trade from Winnipeg to Anaheim).

Larsson & Burakovsky for Perron? I might not understand your post & what you are trying to say.
Just saying there isn't a lot they have that we could want or fit in. Larsson would be an upgrade over Zub.

They don't have too many low paid upgrades we could fit in without sending money back. I think we are past the point of getting picks back. We need to improve the roster.

I probably wouldn't re-sign Forsberg, Gregor or Cousins for next season & I might even look to move one or two of them at the trade deadline. That frees up $4.4 mil & with Hamonic also likely not being re-signed $1.1 mil that's $5.5 mil to play with. Ostapchuk replaces Cousins, Yakemchuk/JBD replace Hamonic, Reinhardt could probably replace Gregor & Sogaard or more likely a vet NHL goalie for $1 mil could replace Forsberg. If they re-sign Giroux for another yr I would guess it would be for a bit less money too.

Not sure what is going on with Perron, if he is still out due to family issues, but it's $4 mil & a roster spot we need to fill with a player who can contribute. If they keep him which is likely he will likely replace Gregor. Not sure what to do with Gaudette either although he would likely sign for another cheap amount & doesn't really hurt you & if put on the right line can contribute a few goals. While they are having down seasons I think both Greig & Pinto are still really good young players & will be effective players for this team for yrs.

OK, but still wondering what your trade proposal is? Would think it isn’t Larsson + Burakovsky for Perron because we haven’t enough cap space for that trade.

There’s suddenly a lot of trade proposals involving the Kraken. Not sure why that’s the case, but perhaps I missed something. I’m kind of curious as to what the Kraken’s strategy or objectives are.

The other question is whether Perron would be of interest to the Kraken?

Saw on the main trade board that Parssinen is most likely being made available by Nashville. His situation with the Predators sounds very similar to Fabbro and Tomasino recently, where they have a young player who has shown some promise and potential in the past but is not being given consistent playing opportunity by their coach.

Given how many significant futures we traded away in recent years, most notably with our DeBrincat and Chychrun ventures, this is the type of move that I would love to see us being interested in making. I assume that the cost would be similar to the Tomasino trade - likely around a 2026 5th or 2027 4th type of value.

It would give us a young asset (23 years old) that would not be expensive to acquire, easy to fit to our cap structure ($775k for this season then RFA), and who has shown that he can play a role in the middle six with decent production (produced at a 30-35 pts pace over his career so far). If my assumption is not far off on the acquisition cost, I'd love to see this kind of move to add depth while also adding an nhl calibre role player that fits with the timeline of our core. It would be low risk/medium reward IMO.

Sure give him a shot with Stutzle. We should be trying to pick up any young NHL players for late round picks.

If you can get Gregor back on the same contract I’d definitely bring him back.

Very useful player for 850,000
